Lance Cpl. Justin M. Ellsworth, 20, died Nov. 13 2004 as a result of enemy action in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. Ellsworth was assigned to Combat Service Support Battalion 1, Combat Service Support Group 11, 1st Force Service Support Group, I Marine Expeditionary Force, and Camp Pendleton, California.
On March 19, 2003, the very same day President Bush declared war on Iraq, Justin enlisted in the Marines under the delayed entry program. Justin was a senior in High School at the time he graduated in June of 2003 and left for the Marines in September 2003.

U.S. Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Marc A. Lee, 28, was killed Aug. 2, 2006 in a fierce firefight while on patrol against insurgents in Ramadi, Iraq. An aviation ordinanceman and a member of a Coronado, Calif.-based SEAL team, Marc was the first Navy SEAL killed in Iraq.

Private First Class Andrew Henning Nelson was born March 31, 1987, in St. Johns Michigan. Andrew was the first child born to Alan and Tami Nelson. Two and a half years later, Andrew would become the big brother to Jessica Mari Nelson, and seven years after Andrew was born he became the big brother to Stephanie Marie Nelson. Andrew was very proud of his little sisters. He was always excited to go to the hospital after they were born to wear the doctor’s mask, scrub, and hold the babies.

Senior Airman William N. Newman U.S. Air Force
Senior Airman William N. Newman, 23, became a casualty of Operation Iraqi Freedom on June 7, 2007. William joined the Air Force as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technician. He knew it was a job that would require great skill and technique, but his training for this job taught him how to be the best he could be at disarming bombs. In the event of not being able to use robotic equipment to disarm bombs, they were trained how to perform this function with the least amount of risk to themselves and others.

PFC Bryan "Nicholas" Spray U.S. Army
Nick signed up to be an 82nd Airborne Paratrooper. He did all of his training, basic, infantry and airborne, at Ft. Benning. His brother and I went down for graduation and watched him jump. His brother filmed it all and Nick knew what group he was and what number jumper he was. "That is me" he announced proudly.
