National Weekend Of Remembrance Now Scheduled For September 25-26, 2009

Dear Gold Star Families,

As many of you are aware, the current date for the National Weekend of Remembrance falls on Rosh Hashanah. Though Families United was not involved with the scheduling of the event, we have been working feverishly to accommodate Gold Star families of all faiths. The event has now been rescheduled to the weekend of September 25-26, 2009.

For those of you who have already made travel arrangements, we are in the process of working with hotels, airlines, and rental car organizations to ensure that you do not pay any additional fee for the change of dates. Please do not change your travel arrangements until we are able to finalize this process with all the major airlines.
